A light well is what brings daylight deep into a building, and that is what a well-installed window should do for your home. The crew at Lightwell Windows West Palm Beach takes that idea seriously. We’re a small, local team of installers and coordinators who have worked on houses from El Cid to Palm Beach Lakes to the Ranchlands. What unites us is simple: we’d rather take an extra twenty minutes to flash a sill correctly than ever come back for a preventable leak. Keith Yamada runs our shop, and everyone on this page is a real person you’ll meet when we knock on your door in a uniform, with shoe covers in hand.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Miguel R. – Lead Technician
Miguel has been setting windows in South Florida since 2009, and he’s seen what ten years of salt air and afternoon thunderstorms do to a bad install. He leads our crews on the tougher jobs: second-story openings, homes with original masonry, anything where the existing framing has its own opinions. Miguel is our Impact Products lead with PGT and CGI systems, so when a homeowner in the Northwood Hills area needs a replacement that satisfies coastal wind requirements, he’s the one measuring and mapping the opening. Off the clock, he restores a 1978 Boston Whaler, which means he’s as patient with corroded screws as he is with stubborn window frames.
Dana S. – Senior Installer
Dana came from a finish-carpentry background before joining the team, and it shows in her trim work. She’s exact about reveals, caulk lines, and the way a door should close with one finger. Dana handles most of our door installation work, including Therma-Tru and ViewLux entries, and she’s the person who notices if a threshold will sit a quarter-inch proud before the new door even comes off the truck. She lives in Westgate and has two younger kids, so she’s naturally the one who asks about nap schedules and keeps the vacuum running only when the baby monitor is off. Her tool bag always has twine, a roll of painter’s tape, and a pack of gum for the homeowner’s kids.
Rosa L. – Service Coordinator
Rosa is the voice on the phone when you call Lightwell Windows West Palm Beach at (728) 203-1160. She keeps the calendar straight, orders materials, and makes sure the written estimate is in your hands before any crew member steps foot on your driveway. Before joining us, Rosa spent six years dispatching for an HVAC shop in Palm Beach County, so she knows the same thing we do: people would rather hear a real human answer in two rings than get a call back in two hours. She lives in south West Palm Beach and keeps a printed spreadsheet of every job’s progress near her desk, not because she doesn’t trust the software, but because she likes crossing things off with a pen.
Jordan T. – Apprentice Installer
Jordan started with us two years ago as a materials runner and has since moved onto full installs under Miguel’s watch. He’s currently learning window setting techniques and building code details specific to Palm Beach County, including proper flashing sequences for stucco walls and concrete-block openings, both of which a lot of cookie-cutter installers never see. Jordan is the youngest on the crew and the one most likely to be sent back to the truck for the right drop cloth because he forgot which floor was getting walked through. He’s a backyard barbecue guy who insists his neighbor’s impact windows is what convinced him to learn the trade in the first place.
One Standard, Every Job
Every team member here follows the Cedarwell Care Promise, which has shaped how our network operates since 2010. The C.A.R.E. values are printed on our work orders: Clean up like it is our own home; Ask before we move or touch anything; Respect the family’s time and quiet hours; Explain the price before the work. In practice that means shoe covers and drop cloths go down before any tool comes out. We take a photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves and send it to you. We use pet-safe caulk and sealants whenever a choice exists. And if a job is not right, Lightwell makes it right under the 365-Day Done Right Promise, no debate, no countdown. That promise is stamped on every job, not just the easy ones. Keith’s rule is blunt: the crew’s reputation gets signed at the bottom of every job card, and around here that signature matters.
