Coastal Condo Window Replacement, West Palm Beach
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | Coastal condo window replacement, West Palm Beach FL]
The problem: twenty-year-old aluminum frames had lost their seals, and the living room glass stayed fogged no matter the weather. The salt air had pitted the tracks so badly the windows barely slid. We removed every opening, checked the bucks for rot (found none, which is rare this close to the water), and installed new PGT impact-rated windows matched to the HOA’s finish spec. The result: clean sightlines, windows that open with one hand, and glass that actually stays clear in the humidity.
Historic Home Window Installation in Flamingo Park
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | Historic window installation, Flamingo Park, West Palm Beach FL]
In Flamingo Park, the old double-hung sashes had been painted shut for decades, and two frames had termite damage where the sills met the stucco. The owner wanted modern glass without losing the home’s original character. We measured each opening individually, because nothing in a 1920s house is square, and ordered ViewLux windows sized to sit inside the existing trim. Drop cloths covered the floors, and the crew asked before moving any furniture, because the C.A.R.E. values apply everywhere, including a house with original heart-pine floors. The house keeps its look, and the windows now open and close without a pry bar.
French Door Installation, El Cid Neighborhood
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | French door installation, El Cid, West Palm Beach FL]
The problem: a solid back door that had swollen so badly in the summer heat that it had to be shoulder-checked to close. The family wanted more daylight in the kitchen and a clear path to the patio. We pulled the old door, reframed the rough opening for a wider pair, and installed Therma-Tru French doors with glass that handles direct afternoon sun without turning the kitchen into a terrarium. The installers vacuumed the drywall dust before they left and sent the homeowners a photo of the clean-up, the same way we do on every job in West Palm Beach.
Bedroom Window Replacement for a Young Family, Northwood
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | Bedroom window replacement, Northwood, West Palm Beach FL]
A nursery in Northwood had old jalousie windows that rattled every time a truck passed and let warm air pour in by noon. The parents were looking for something quieter and safer for a toddler’s room. We replaced the openings with insulated ECO Window Systems windows and used pet-safe sealants throughout the job, since there’s a dog in the house. The crew worked around nap time and kept the noise down when the baby was sleeping. The room stays cooler now, and the parents say the street noise dropped to almost nothing.
Sliding Glass Door Swap in Lake Worth Corridor
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | Sliding glass door replacement, Lake Worth Corridor, West Palm Beach FL]
The old slider had come off its track enough times that the family had started using the front door to reach the lanai. The frame had settled, and the rollers were shot. We removed the entire unit, corrected the rough opening, and installed a new CGI sliding door with hurricane-rated glass and a track that glides with two fingers. Shoe covers went on at the door, drop cloths covered the tile, and the old hardware got hauled off the same day. Now the lanai is actually part of the house again.
Full-House Window Replacement, Lake Worth
[Photo placeholder: Before & After | Full-house window replacement, Lake Worth, West Palm Beach FL]
A 1980s ranch in Lake Worth still had its original builder windows, and the utility bill showed it every summer. We walked the house room by room, wrote down what each opening needed, and gave the owners a written price before any work started. Fourteen windows, replaced over three days, with the crew cleaning up at the end of each day so the family could still live there. The house runs cooler now, the AC cycles less, and the owners finally have windows they can open without a fight.
